Today, I am continuing to work on my website. I am beginning to work on my résumé and cleaning up my portfolio page. I will also spend about 10 minutes working on my tutorials, were I am learning how to use envelope distort. I also added a new page to my "Word of the Day" blog. I will also continue to make and put together my backup folders in Google drive.
Today in class, we are working on our websites. We were instructed to make pages that have brief explanations to why someone would be visiting that particular page. I am also working on tutorials, I am in chapter 7, were I am learning how to crete gradients meshes, envelopes, and blends. In terms of the projects in this class, I am working on drawing my geo- symetric project. The thing that I chose to draw is a lioness, were I am trying to show the different shadows and details of the lioness with different shadows .
During this class, we have completed multiple projects. The first was the pixel design, where we created a self-portrait of ourself's using a 16x16 grid. The second project that we completed was the silhouette contour project. In this we combined a silhouette and a contour a of the same image and place the contour on top of the silhouette. Then we completed the zentangle, where we chose an object and filled it with different designs.
What I liked most about my T-shirt design is the front logo. What I would do differently, if I had more time is trying to make it look better than it already did. What I learned about quick deadlines is working at a fast efficient pace. What I like about working in Illustrator is being able to zoom in as far as I can without the graphic getting pixelated.
Today, my partner and I finished our T-shirt design for W.A.S.C. We made a thumbnail sketch and scanned it into our computers and traced it over with the pen tool in illustrator.
For our project, Geosymmetrical, I'm in the process of sketching some different animals and objects for an idea for what to do with my final project. I finished my Zentangle project last week. In terms of tutorials, I'm in the last couple pages of chapter 4.
